As Longevity Montréal continues to grow, I want to make sure we keep creating the kinds of gatherings that help define the heart of the community. This Summer Potluck Picnic is one of those.
Scheduled for Saturday, July 11th at 11:00 AM, we’ll be gathering in Jarry Park for a larger seasonal community event centered around food, connection, and enjoying summer together.
The idea is simple. Bring something nourishing to share. It can be directly longevity-oriented, generally healthy, culturally meaningful, homemade, store-bought, simple, elaborate, whatever feels right and realistic for you. The point is not perfection. The point is contribution, generosity, and shared experience.
This is one of the events I see as a core community gathering, one of those bigger anchor points that gives us a chance to reconnect, welcome newer faces, and enjoy each other’s company in a more relaxed, social setting.
What to Know
We’ll be meeting in Jarry Park, likely near the welcome centre / parking lot area, with final details confirmed closer to the date.
• Weather dependent, with final confirmation to come closer to the event
• Bring a blanket or something to sit on
• Bring water
• Potluck style, please bring a healthy food, snack, or drink to share
• Dishes from different cultural backgrounds are absolutely welcome
• Dress for the weather and bring whatever helps you stay comfortable outdoors
• Everyone is welcome, whether solo, with friends, or with family
If you’re unsure of what to bring, don’t overthink it. Simple is fine. Nutritious is great. Shared is what matters.

Final Considerations
This is one of the events I’d like to see remain central to the rhythm of our community. The weekly activities matter, but so do the larger seasonal gatherings where we get to slow down, share food, and enjoy each other’s presence more fully.
If you have questions, ideas, or would like to help shape the picnic, feel free to message me.
See you at the picnic!
