DEXA Scan DDD (Data Deep-Dive)

Date: 4 January 2026

Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Organizer(s): Longevity Montreal, Don’t Die Montreal

Description

Location: Zoom

Description

Whether you recently did a DEXA scan or are simply curious about it, this two-part community call is designed to help you interpret, plan, and act with intention.

In Part 1 (17:00–18:00), we’ll go over the fundamentals of the DEXA scan, ie;

  • What it measures
  • How to read your results
  • How to understand the data in context

This will be ideal for anyone looking to make sense of their report, &/or learn about the value of body composition tracking.

In Part 2 (18:00–19:00), we’ll open the floor for goal-setting. We'll explore how to turn our results into concrete objectives and introduce an optional accountability challenge, including:

  • Help creating personal plans for progress
  • The possibility of shared objectives & "accountability buddies"
  • The option to participate in quarterly follow-ups to stay on top of its development

Whether your goal is to gain muscle, maintain bone health, reduce visceral fat, or simply stay steady, this will give you the structure to move forward with clarity and support.

Who is it for

• Anyone who completed the DEXA scan this season
• Anyone interested in doing it next time and wants to learn more
• Anyone curious about health tracking, goal-setting, or joining a community challenge
No experience or prior scan required

What to know

• Duration: 2 hours (feel free to attend just one part as desired)
• Come with your DEXA results ready and on-hand (if you have them)
• A way to take notes and keep track of your personal objectives (paper journal, app, etc)
